Wellness Diary v1.82 Beta

on Sunday, June 7, 2009

I have a nice program on my phone (Nokia 5700 XpressMusic) called Wellness Diary. It lets me enter all my health info into it on a daily basis (e.g: weight, sleep duration, stress, exercise time etc.) So, I decided to enter my sleep data for the night's sleep this morning. I take out my phone and notice that the screen is blank (even though it was on and on full battery the previous night). So I decide to turn it on. But to my horror, the screen keeps flashing on and off in an endless cycle. I thought, hey, maybe it's a glitch. So I took out the battery and put it back in. And the same thing happens again. So now I get really worried and start shaking my phone and tapping it against my finger, hoping that some possible wiring connection will be made and my phone will be all right. I decide to charge the phone, to try to give it some constant power. And to my surprise, the screen stops flashing and my phone starts working normally. It turns out my battery was low. Well, my phone is charging now and hopefully this random glitch won't happen again.

As you can see, the phone is charging at the moment.

And here's the Wellness Diary displaying my sleep duration for the past month.

As I was taking screenshots of my phone, I decided to screenshot something cool for you to look at. I couldn't find anything worthy of note apart from my large amount of games. So I gave up and locked my phone. I decided to see if the lock screen on my phone could be captured. So I press the screenshot combination (# + *) and it worked. This just goes to show that the phone lock on Nokia S60 3rd edition phones are not actually completely locked. It could be something Nokia oversaw. Disappointing really, to think that my PIN locked phone is not actually locked.
